My Very First Digital Art Drawing

I was really happy when I finished this artwork of mine. I never thought of having this kind of drawing before because I thought that I could not make an artwork like this.. well, with the help of ''Paint tool SAI''- a software similar to Photoshop,  it made my dream artwork possible.

It took a lot of time finishing this drawing but it was really worth it.

The Apple Tree

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He loved the tree top, ate the apples and took naps under the shadows. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time quickly went by...

The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree everyday. One day the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
"Come play with me." the tree asked the boy.
“I am no longer a kid. I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied.
"I want toys. I need money to buy them."
"Sorry, but I don't have money. But you can pick my apples and sell them. Then you will have money."
The boy became very excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples.

The tree was sad. One day the boy returned and the tree became excited.
"Come and play with me." the tree said.
“I don't have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”
"Sorry but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house."
Hence, the boy cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back ever since then.

The tree was lonely and sad. One hot summer day, the boy returned again and the tree was delighted.
"Come and play with me!" the tree said.
"I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat? "
"Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy."
Therefore, the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a very long time.

The boy finally returned after he left for many years.
"Sorry, my boy, but I don't have anything for you anymore. I have no more apples for you..." the tree said.
"I don't have teeth to bite." the boy replied.
"I have no more tree trunk for you to climb on."
“I am too old for that now." the boy said.
"I really can't give you anything. The only thing left are my dying roots." the tree said with tears.
"I don't need much now. I just need a place to rest. I am tired after all these years." The boy replied.
"Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean and rest on."
"Come, come sit down with me and rest."
The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story for everyone. The tree is our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad. When we grew up, we left them. Only to go back to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, our parents will always be there for us and will give everything they can to make us happy. You may think that the boy is cruel to the tree but that is how all of us treat our parents.

Love your parents, no matter where they are. —

The Doll and White Rose

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, “I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.” Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?” The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.” Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her. I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. “No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.”
His eyes were so sad while saying this. “My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that    Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.” My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: “I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.” Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me “I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won’t forget me.” “I love my mommy and I wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.” Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. “Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?” “OK” he said, “I hope I do have enough.” I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: “Thank you God for giving me enough money!” Then he looked at me and added, “I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!” “I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.” “My mommy loves white roses.”

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

There's NO CHARGE for LOVE

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups, and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard.

As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt tug on his overalls.

He looked down into the eyes of a little boy.

"Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat of the back of his neck, "these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money."

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket,
he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've
got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"

"Sure," said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle. "Here Dolly!" he called.

Out from the doghouse and down ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur.

The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed
something else stirring inside the doghouse.

Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller.

Down the ramp it slid. Then in a awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up....

"I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.

Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands."

With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup. Holding it carefully he handed it to the little boy.

"How much?" asked the little boy.

"No charge," answered the farmer, "There's no charge for love."

Nice Game..

And the audition is finally over.. well it didn't made a good start for me but a part of me knows that i did my best. I guess its not my break yet but it doesn't mean that I will stop from joining and reaching my dreams.

It was a pleasant experience for me because it was my first time to join such a national competition and seeing those participants together with their dreams on becoming a singer. Yet, it just made difficult because they were looking for that outstanding voice quality. Even though, at least I have heard the judges comments and suggestions on how am I supposed to enhance my talent.

For now, I will start practicing even more!!

:D

..Pretensions..

I am all alone in this abandoned room
Without any person who can watch my doom
Surrounded by these scattered ravages of dawn
Without a friend to say keep holding on

But now I can pretend that someone’s beside me
To fill the emptiness that no one can see
That someone’s putting its arms around me
And makes me feel the warmth that I want it to be

And I know I am only just pretending
Knowing that it is not really happening
I guess I’m not really worthy to be happy
Perhaps I’ll stay here in this room of misery

But I think it’s not time to say no more!
Maybe there’s someone who will like me and adore
Oh God! Please guide me to your admirations
And keep away these outrageous pretensions

I wrote this last year because it is an assignment in our Literature and just reminiscing the thought of the poem makes me laugh because I've just realize how dumb I was when I presented it in front of our class XP

FRIENDSHIP

http://66quotes.blogspot.com/2011/02/friendship-quotes.html

Happy Birthday Celina!!

I know its a bit late but I just want to post this unforgettable moment of ShaRoMaRiCe.
(sorry for the grammar at di pa kasi to maayos.. antok na ako ee.. . ehehe..)

It was Celina's 19th birthday (the gorgeous lady whose at the center :D ) though we look like silly people at that picture, for me it's the most wonderful of all.

We planned for this four days ago and I admit at first hindi kami masyadong nagkasundo pagdating sa lugar at pagkain but in the end we settled it naman..by the way ang theme pala ng birthday is piknik.. we agreed na kami ang magluluto ng handa  which is Adobo, and octopus hotdog and for the dessert - cookies sa bahay ng birthday girl., and the place is at the River Park in Marikina..

So then, when the day of Celina had finally come.. ginawa na namin ang paghahanda para sa piknik and we allocated each procedure sa bawat isa at na-assign sa akin ang PAGHUHUGAS ng PINGGAN at pag saing ng kanin.. haayy..muntik na nga masunog.. haha!! ayun nga after ng preparations of food.. biglang umulan, ayun disappointed kasi pano kami magpipiknik kung umuulan so we took pictures muna waiting for the rain to stop.. but it didn't.. sabi nga ni Celina.. kada birthday nalang talaga nya umuulan.. sabi ko nalang.. blessings yan.!

Suddenly the rain stops and we take it as an opportunity para umalis na at tumungo sa aming destinasyon.. akala namin di na maulan sa marikina yun pala mas malakas pa so ang ginawa nalang namin pagdating namin sa river park ee kumain nalang kami sa isang place na may silungan.. dun nalang kami nag PARTE PARTE.. haha.. nakalimutan pa nga ni celina na lima pala kami .. ang nadala nya lang kasi ay 4 pairs of spoon and fork ayun nag share nalang kami ni Celina.. binigay ko sa kanya yung kutsara at sa akin ang tinidor. haha!! natatawa talaga ako that time.

After we finished eating we continue our picture taking protocol.. and that was the FUN PART..!! we took picture anywhere we want.. but suddenly, Celina's Sandals got broken so we decided to look for a store that sells slippers para mapalitan ang nasirang footware at Thank God nakabili naman kami.. then we headed to the SM Marikina.. ayun nag window window Shopping lang.. yun naman ang EXHAUSTING PART.. we walk and walk and walk and walk.. and then went to Mcdonalds and eat Fries (Celina's treat) then dahil sa pagod umuwi na kami..

Grabe!! Tatlong lugar napunthan namin.. Pasig to Taytay Rizal to Marikina.. but worth it naman kasi MASAYA..
